PROBLEMS:

We spent so much money on fashion that will go out of trend after a season, or we never even wear them. Statistic has shown; the average amount of expenses on unnecessary clothes is about Euro 100,000 per household. If we are talking about ECO-friendly here, this is something that we must address. Therefore, it has been a mission for thePerfectTangent to offer something timeless and durable for the market.

Everybody has been searching for the perfect “FIT” for his shape, or I should say “FIT” that is in trend for the season. Trend is a social norm, and it is always a variable in our Eco-system. At the same time, it is difficult to not follow Fashion. Therefore, in order to achieve something timeless, we need to unify the fit into 1 single theory.

What is a timeless fit?

What is a Perfect Fit that can unify human Body?

INVESTIGATION:

After I saw the movie in 1998, I have been deeply inspired by the movie. I then started researching and verifying the validity of this idea. And finally in 2009, I felt comfortable in starting my own label, named thePerfectTangent, a clothing line that specializes in Intellectual Innovative design.

The first product that I have invented, called Golden Ratio Fit, is linked to the idea of Vitruvian man, a painting from Leonardo di Vinci (painter, sculptor, architect, musician, scientist, mathematician, engineer, inventor, anatomist, geologist, cartographer, botanist and writer). I have experiment our patterns based on Golden Ratio “Fibonacci Sequence”, and has invented into something Architectural, Philosophical and at the same time, Beautiful and Timeless.
